Robert Noyce Scholarships

Description

The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program provides competitive funding opportunities for students who are working toward a science teaching credential at SJSU and SFSU, and who will subsequently teach science in a "high need" school in the SF Bay Area.

Awards of up to $10,000 per year for two years.

Monies to be awarded for Spring Semester, 2004, and beyond.

Qualification

Recipients must be either:

  • SENIORS majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Post-baccalaureate students enrolled in an appropriate Teacher Credential Program at San Francisco State University or San Jose State University
