SAP Research: Next generation enterprise software platforms
Abstract:

SAP Research is a global applied research team. We have 7 research programs ranging from Software Engineering and Architectures to Human-Computer Interaction. In this talk, we will present the key topics that are of interest to SAP Research including Sensor Networks, RFID, and Voice and multimodal user interfaces.

Bio:

Samir Raiyani is a Senior Research Scientist at SAP Research in Palo Alto, CA. Samir has worked on a variety of research projects that center around innovative RFID, sensor networking and mobile computing technologies. His areas of expertise are mobile middleware platforms and multimodal user interfaces. Prior to SAP, he was the founder and System Architect at mobile healthcare startup iScribe Inc. Samir has a Masters degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
